January 2017 Meeting Recap

Good Evening Mad Mod Quilters!  We had a great January meeting with 46 quilters in attendance – 10 of which were guests! From our Events Committee: Our fearless events committee gave us a challenge.  Pantone color of the year! Members, who wanted to participate in the challenge we’re given a fat quarter to work with. January meeting is this week!

Please join us for the January meeting! Maday will be collecting kennel quilts/pet blankets for charity.  Make them 12″x18″ or 18″x24″ with a back , front and batting.  These are a great place to practice your quilting stitches.  Some of us need a LOT of practice. December 2016 Meeting Recap

November 2016 Meeting Recap

The November Mad Mod meeting was held the 10th. There were 45 people in attendance; 16 were visitors!!!! (Two of whom joined after the meeting) Natalie, chair of the MQG Charity Quilt Challenge, discussed what is ahead and asked for the committee to meet briefly after the general meeting.  The finished quilt is to be mailed early in February. October Meeting

The Mad Mod October meeting was October 13, 2016.  There were 45 people present (every last chair that we could find was used!) and 7 of those were guests.   Gael discussed the status of her ‘coming soon’ quilt shop, Blue Bar Quilts.  Construction is poised to begin as soon as the endless details are ironed out and the papers signed.   Wendy talked about her Modern Stitchers Affair which was held in September.  It […]
