Happy Spring Mad Mod Guild! It’s hard to believe it, but I think we have finally reached Spring weather! We hope that your Easter (should you celebrate it) was full of chocolate and sugary treats.
Here is what you missed from the April meeting:
~Thanks to our wonderful guest speaker, Natalie Santini, the Madison Modern Quilt Guild was able to purchase rotary cutters for every paid member. We started handing them out at the April meeting and will continue at future meetings so that current members can pick theirs up. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, come join us for a meeting!
~Tracy continues to coordinate sew gatherings for our community. Check out our web page for more information.
~Linda has started a round robin quilt project for Project Linus. There are several quilts started that will be brought to each meeting. Members are free to take a quilt top and add to it and then bring it to a future meeting. What a great group project. Thanks Linda!
~Our next Block Lotto info can be found here.
We were so lucky to have Natalie Santini come and talk to us about her process for pattern making, testing, and just being an all around down to earth awesome artist. Thank you so much Natalie for sharing all your information with us.
For MAY we will be having the Wisconsin Museum of Fiber Arts visit. They will be bringing their collection to us! The topic will be: Treasures from the Vault (Modern/Contemporary) sign up info can be found here.
NOW IT’S TIME FOR SEW & TELL: Look at how talented you all are!!!
