July 2017 Meeting Recap

Hello Gang!  Did you have a fun time at the July meeting or did you have to sit this one out?  Here is what you missed!

For starters, our fearless leader Linda was away so Dayna Thwaits (Treasurer) took over.  Thanks Dayna!

So, what’s new you ask?  Well…

  • Maday opened a slow maker space in Baraboo!  Find out more about it on Facebook.
  • Blue Bar Quilts is starting a service project to help Days for Girls, a worldwide organization that provides girls reusable menstrual kits.   Contact BBQ for upcoming sew days devoted to this effort.

As always if you’re looking for every nitty gritty detail of the July meeting, read the meeting minutes.  😀

This month’s program:  Cheryl Schenk taught us how to baste a quilt with our breaking your back!  If you missed it, Cheryl has a helpful explanation on her blog.  Big thanks to Cheryl for sharing her expertise.

Now, what you really wanted to see – SEW N’ TELL!
