Sew and Tell
Cheryl showed her project quilt finishes, a friendship star block in blue and a monkey wrench block in green. She also showed a white challenge quilt with detailed quilting and a shop sample of a Sharon Montgomery pattern (from the Scrap Crazy 6 Quilt book).
Dayna also showed her project quilting finish, a friendship star block in yellow with a panel as the background.
Nicole showed off her new bed runner in greys, blues and bright colors and a small quilt she worked on with her 5 year old daughter. Her daughter glued some fabric triangles on the quilt and Nicole quilted and bound it.
Joan showed her progress on an improvisational sunset quilt.
Trish showed her project quilting finish in an orange color pallet. The quilt also contains words, glitter and . . . you guessed it . . . . a skull. 🙂
Amy showed a quilt-as-you-go and hand quilted ‘road trip’ quilt in a variety of fabrics
Amy P. showed a T-shirt quilt for her son for his high school graduation. The quilt is a true labor of love and contains t-shirts throughout her son’s life.
See you all in August! Cheryl will be practicing her Quilt Expo talk at our next meeting!
