#Pulse Sew Day

There were six members of Mad Mod who took most of a Sunday to gather and sew two quilts to donate to the Orlando MQG’s drive for #Pulse. The tops are pieced and ready for basting and quilting. Mad Mod First-ever Retreat

Over the weekend of October 23-25, thirteen lucky Mad Mod members attended the first-ever Mad Mod retreat at the Jones Mansion in Mineral Point. It was a blast! Attention members!! We are going to do a Scrap Swap! Bring a quart-size bag (or larger) full of your scraps to the September meeting if you wish to participate. We will draw names to determine swap partners. You will take your swap partner’s scraps home and create something awesome with them. Quilt Show @ Alicia Ashman Library 2015

The MMQG show @ Alicia Ashman Library is set for September and October. Quilts will be hung on Thursday, 9/3 from 6-9p. A few items of note: The library can accommodate only a handful of large (bed-sized) quilts, so most will need to be wall-hanging size.
