November 2017 Meeting Recap

Hello Mad Mod Quilters!

Here are the highlights:

Most important:  Have the following ready for the December 14 meeting:

1.Trish is leading us through a mystery stitchy project. Your supply list:

  • a needle
  • fun thread – the more fun thread the more fun the project will be!
  • tiny scissors
  • tape (like Scotch brand tape)

2.Bring a handmade zippy pouch for the optional zippy pouch swap. Make a pouch and fill it up (limit is $25). 

Next up – check out the super cool block lotto entries!  Kristen won 57 blocks!

Tara of Wefty needle showed us how to weave and how to source materials.  

Election time!  The 2018 officers are….drumroll….

  • Dayna Thwaits, President
  • Catherine Van Hove, Treasurer
  • Margaret Basket, Secretary

Dayna says her focus will be on building community and arranging a program for each month.

Quilt Show – Linda is organizing a quilt show for the Monona Public Library at the end of January.  All members are welcome to participate.
