October 2018 Meeting Recap

Hey Mad Mod-ers!  Here is what you missed at our October meeting.

Jeff Caplan from CraftOptics visited us this month.  CraftOptics makes precision magnification and lighting for artists, craftsmen, and anyone doing fine detail work. These glasses are great for detail work and help your posture so you can sew longer! There is a 100% money back guarantee on them too. Guild members were offered $75 off.  Reach out to CraftOptics and learn more!

Quilt Show
Linda is planning a MMQG exhibit at the Monona Library at the end of January 2018. They will take 30+ quilts. It will be possible to display 3D quilts, and they should be quite high off the ground. Linda will provide us with allowable measurements very soon.

What to expect for the rest of the year:

Dues are DUE!  Pay $45 at the next meeting or email madmodquiltguild.com to pay online.

November meeting – Tara Curtis will demo fabric weaving with the tool she invented, the Wefty Needle.

December Meeting – Trish will be facilitating a craft project and you’re invited to participate in a zip pouch swap.  Make a pouch and fill it up (limit is $25). It’s
