Natalie S. collected and showed us the blocks she and members made for the MQG charity quilt that will display at QuiltCON in February 2017. The theme is “sCaLe” and our quilt is composed of many stars of various sizes. After QuiltCON the makers of the quilt will pick the charity of their choice and donate it.

What to expect at the January meeting:

Show and Tell:  In addition to whatever else you’ve finished, bring the first quilt you’ve ever made!  (the focus will be on new and beginning quilters).
Charity: Bring kennel quilts/pet blankets completed for a charity donation. Sizes are: 12” x 18” OR 18” x 24”. Completed quilts should be quilted with the front, back and batting. This is a perfect project to practice machine quilting. Quilts will be collected b  Maday, the chair of the charity committee.
