I know I am not alone when I say I am horrified about what is happening in Ukraine and I somehow want to help. Thank you to MMQG member Misty for sharing the link which will be our Block Lotto for this month. Pat Sloan has created this page with the free block pattern (Star Within a Star) and also has created a specific link for donations to UNICEF that will go directly to children of Ukraine. Just as in her instructions, lets use Blue, Yellow, and White for the blocks. As always, the winner of the blocks can do whatever inspires them with the group’s blocks.

This block is quite large (18.5” x 18.5”; finished block size: 18”x18”). It took me about 90 minutes start to finish (selecting the material, cutting, and piecing, and ironing).
